Tier I operator takes delivery of a new Hot Make Hot Break EQD for permanent use subsea. The connector is permanently mounted onto a subsea manifold and provides a safe, zero leak, passive EQD for use during intervention operations. This is becoming a considered way forward to significantly lower hydraulic intervention costs.
Dr Paul Armitage
Paul led the business for 10 years from 2013 to 2023 as Managing Director. Paul now sits on the board supporting Secc's growth strategy. He has a Ph.D. in petroleum engineering and has held senior commercial and engineering roles in the oilfield chemistry and specialty chemical industries.
