ECOFLOW – Hot Stab – Type 1 – Single Bore Multiport (Non-Taper)
- Based on the API Type 1 Hot Stab (link) the TYPE 1 – ECOFLOW features integrated check valves in both the Stab and Receptacle
- Pressure balanced “Valved” Hot Stab connector and Receptacle
- The Single and Multi-port design with single stab seal diameter
- Features check valves to prevent spill during connection/disconnections and ingress to internal hydraulics
- Protecting the environment from hydraulic fluid spills
- Protecting equipment, and hydraulic oils from sea water ingress.
Primarily intended (but not limited) for “static” low flow hydraulic applications to control devices such as Valves, Actuators, and Clamps. (For HIGHFLOW see ECOFLOW+ link)
The ECOFLOW – Hot Stab is equipped with dual check valves per port to allow flow/return and venting.
- When connected the Flow-Port transfers the fluid whilst the Return-Port allows fluid to return during venting. Allowing the device to return to the original state.
- When disconnected the Flow-Port is seated and the Return-Port equipped with springs sufficient to oppose the hyperbaric pressure (depth sensitive springs can be specified to suit water depth).
The Receptacle is equipped with Bidirectional check valves. The check valve is equipped with dual poppets and offset springs (in 1 cartridge), allowing primary flow into the system via a larger orifice/bore and pressure venting post operation via a smaller orifice/bore. Each inline check valve provides zero spill (Bi-directionally).
Basic schematic of 1 port/line below:
Different Type -1 seal diameters and number of ports can be used (single, dual, quad and sextuple).
Internal bore and hydraulic ports can be optimised depending on design pressure, interface requirements and number of ports.
Typically utilise 1 to 6 ports.
ECOFLOW is available in a TYPE-1, TYPE-2 and ECOFLOW+ for HIGHFLOW applications.
Secc’s male Hot Stab and female Receptacle ECOFLOW assemblies have offered robust proven operation up to 10,000PSI, for over 20 years.
