Secc’s unique IP (Intellectual property) allows the ERC to be integrated into Tanker Manifolds, Y-Pieces, Goosenecks and Reel connections.

The pressure balanced design of Secc’s Couplings (HF-ERC) removes separation forces generated by hydrostatic pressure, allowing safe activation to commence without dangerous consequences in a controlled manner. This design also allows for a passive feature to be initiated in the event of hydraulic failure. Based on Secc’s Hot Make Hot Break (HMHB) the patented design has be proven in the energy Sector for over 20 years.
