API HOT STAB – Type 2 – Dual Bore Multiport (Taper)

The TYPE 2 Hot Stab is a pressure-balanced Hot stab connector and Receptacle.

Typically has 2 individual ports using a tapered design, each of the ports is located on a different seal bore.

Non-standard design has seen 6 individual ports located on 2 seal diameters

Internal bore and hydraulic ports can be optimised depending on size, design pressure, interface requirements, and number of ports.

Vent port “O” is required to prevent a hydraulic lock during insertion and removal of the hot stabs.

Secc’s male Hot Stab and female Receptacle assemblies have offered robust proven operation up to 15,000PSI, for over 20 years.
