SECC Oil and Gas supplied two of these builds to a Tier I OEM and intervention service company. They are back with us undergoing their 5 year service and revalidation. They look almost new. The build is a Hot Make Hot Break, (HMHB), plug and play EQD connector, mounted in a gimbal system with hydraulic and passive activation. In the event of an EQD additional DCV valves mounted between the stab and receptacle of the HMHB drive the closure of downstream barrier valves. A very neat bit of kit.
