ALTUM QCDC

Advanced Coupling Technology. Engineered for Safety. Up to 15,000PSI.

ALTUM is Secc’s next-generation Quick Connect Disconnect (QCDC) coupling, engineered to deliver safe, efficient and reliable fluid transfer in demanding high-pressure subsea and topside environments.

Derived from Secc’s field-proven 10,000PSI HMHB technology, ALTUM builds on more than 20 years of coupling experience, field operation and continuous R&D.

ALTUM provides a Plug and Play connection point now rated to 15,000PSI.

Designed for integration into both permanent and temporary subsea systems, ALTUM combines full-bore flow, pressure-balanced technology and autonomous valve operation in a compact, robust connection system.

ALTUM provides a versatile solution for both Emergency Quick Disconnect (EQD) applications and routine connection and disconnection operations, delivering operational flexibility without compromising safety, reliability or system performance.

ALTUM incorporates patented technology developed specifically to manage the challenges of high-pressure disconnections. The Stirrup Guidance System controls and manages transient loads generated during pressurized activation, maintaining controlled separation of the coupling.

The patented Vent Disc manages trapped pressure during activation, protecting the sealing system and preserving seal integrity throughout the disconnect sequence.

Together, these features enable ALTUM to provide a controlled, repeatable and reliable disconnection, including activation under full working pressure.
