On Christmas Eve, Secc received an urgent call: “We need help accessing an existing system, fast!”
Through close collaboration with our client, our team successfully adapted the Type 3 design to meet all requirements, including:
✅ Handle orientation
✅ Guide nose design
✅ End fitting specification
The first of the ten Type 3 stabs was designed, manufactured, and sent out for fit trials in Norway within just three weeks — followed swiftly by another nine.
The result? A customized solution seamlessly integrated into an existing subsea system, even fitting into foreign receptacles.
