Early well test vessel: This dedicated vessel has utilised the HMHB on a support shoot. The vessel is controlled by Dynamic Positioning (DP) and manoeuvrers close to fixed structures in a variety of locations and climates. In an emergency event the HMHB protects the flow line – operating as an emergency quick disconnect – and surrounding environment due to its zero loss, zero leak characteristics avoiding spillage.
The quick connect characteristics of the HMHB allows the operator to reset connection via an integrated winch once the free end is retrieved, significantly minimising downtime.
