An innovative, high-strength handle mechanism differentiates Secc stabs from alternative designs. Secc’s improved stab handle does not incorporate any welds. It therefore resolves the inherent fatigue problems experienced subsea with wire welded stab handles. A rubber insert with elastic properties returns the stab handle to its central position. The removal of wire welded type handles from the stab design enables Secc to guarantee an operational life cycle of 25+ years for their range of stabs.
