Secc has successfully designed, manufactured, and qualified a set of 5,000 psi, 2-inch High Flow Hot Stabs for a shallow water PLEM project for a prestigious Tier 1 operator in the APAC region.
The scope included a complete package comprising four Live Hot Stabs, two Blind Hot Stabs, and four Parking Stabs, along with matching receptacles fitted with welded pup pieces. All pressure bearing components were manufactured in Inconel 625, selected for its excellent corrosion resistance and suitability for demanding crude oil service. The equipment was designed in accordance with API 17D requirements, ensuring full compliance with industry standards for subsea production systems.
The Hot Stabs will be used to connect to the PLEM as part of a crude oil application, where flow, reliability and sealing integrity are critical to safe and efficient operations. A key feature of the equipment is Secc’s proprietary priority sealing technology, which has recently been re-qualified in accordance with PR2 API 17D, further demonstrating its robustness under stringent testing conditions.
This delivery reinforces Secc’s capability to provide high-performance, fully qualified subsea connection solutions tailored to the specific requirements of offshore developments
