Secc is pleased to announce the delivery of the second generation Mid Line Weak Link (MLWL) connectors for Rigless Light Well Interventions (RLWI). The connectors are being delivered to a leading service company with an extensive track record of executing rigless projects in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM).
The MLWL is a passive emergency breakaway system that seals on both sides upon loss of dynamic positioning by DP2 vessel, protecting the environment from any fluid losses from the conduit or the subsea safety module.
Our stringent and extensive testing program provides future proofing against any standard that comes of API17g2, a specification that will set the bar for future rigless connector requirements not only in the GoM, but worldwide.
